What better way to end the Christmas celebrations and start the New Year than to see Dereham Theatre Company’s magical pantomime 'Jack and the beanstalk'

Dame Trott is struggling to pay her rent; the King’s incompetent assistant is struggling to collect her rent; Jack is struggling to get money for the rent; his brother Billy has probably spent the rent and Daisy the cow is just very confused!

Lurking in the shadows as with all fairy tales is the pantomime baddie ‘Fleshcreep” the Giant’s obnoxious henchman on Earth. Will Fleshcreep succeed in bringing the mood of the people of Merrydale down? Will he be able to carry out the evil Giant’s curse? Will he steal poor old Daisy away to end up on the Giant’s lunch menu special board?

Casting her magical eye over all of this is of course is Fairy Moonbeam who has her 2 little apprentice Fairy helpers Moonshine and Nightsky so nothing can go wrong – or can it?

Dereham theatre Company’s pantomime is a lovely re-telling of Jack and the Beanstalk and is going to be a fantastic production with all the elements of great pantomime – oh yes it is!
